Fall Reading Picks - 2015

Fall has arrived and as a seasonal reader and mood reader, it's the perfect time to think about what looks good and what feels right for me this fall.  I'm participating ing the RIP X Challenge and have read 2/4 that I committed to and I still have a little over a month to read (2) more darker, themed books or mysteries to complete this challenge.

There are so many new releases or soon to be released books that seem perfect for fall.  So here's some contenders I've selected from my Goodreads list that I hope to be reading or listening to between now and the end of November.  Are you machining any fall reading lists?

  1. I liked The Last Days of Rabbit Hayes. It was a quick read. I'm looking forward to The Lake House by Kate Morton!

  5. There are so many good releases this fall. I'm debating whether to read Beautiful Bureaucrat. I still need to read the earlier Kent Haruf novels before going to his latest.

    1. Beautiful Bureaucrat is pretty short and I've heard great things about it.

  7. I loved Our Souls at Night. Haruf is one of my favorite writers and I'm so sorry he's gone.

  12. I have about 200 books at our house waiting to be read and keep buying more. I don't structure my reading but select as the spirit moves me. I am reading Orley Farm by Anthony Trollope and alternating with modern books like Dog Stars by Peter Heller. Your list looks like fun and full of variety.

  13. Everyone is killing me with their fall lists!! I so want to sit my tush down to write a post up but I have zero time these days and it's not even my personal life, just work. Blah. I have the Irving book. I am not sure I will read Purity or not. I am not a fan of his writing but everyone seems to be reaching for it.
